KMC to provide free health services for senior citizens

KATHMANDU, June 1: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to provide free health services to senior citizens residing in all 32 wards.

KATHMANDU, June 1: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to provide free health services to senior citizens residing in all 32 wards.



KMC Mayor Balen Shah said that the metropolis has reached an agreement with Chhatrapati Hospital to provide all health services free of charge to the senior citizens of the city who have reached the age of 70.

According to him, old-age allowance ID card or employee ID card or recommendation letter from the ward office obtained from the concerned ward office is mandatory to avail the free health service.
