Koshi Province: Two minister from Maoist Center submit their resignations

KATHMANDU, June 6: The CPN (Maoist Center) has formally withdrawn its support to the Koshi province government with two of its ministers submitting resignation on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, June 6: The CPN (Maoist Center) has formally withdrawn its support to the Koshi province government with two of its ministers submitting resignation on Tuesday.

Physical Infrastructure Minister Durga Chapagain and Tourism, Forest and Environment Minister Jeevan Acharya, who joined the CPN-UML-led Provincial government, submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Hikmat Karki.


A meeting of Maoist Center Central Provincial Office Bearers held in Biratnagar and a separate meeting of the Koshi Provincial Parliamentary Party held on Tuesday had decided to withdraw the support given to the UML-led government.
