Soaltee Westend Premier was formally inaugurated on Tuesday by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli. Shankar Pokharel, Chief Minister of Province No. 5, and Barsaman Pun- Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, were also present in the inauguration program.
According to the press statement issued by Soaltee Hotel on Tuesday, Soaltee Westend Premier is the first five-star hotel in Nepalgunj and the first 5-star hotel with LEED certification in Nepal. LEED or Leadership in Energy and Environment Design is the most widely used green building rating system in the world set up by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). The hotel includes all designs, installations, equipment and processes followed to give an environment-friendly true green hotel.
