Lawmaker provides relief to local injured in levee scuffle

RAJBIRAJ, July 31: A Nepali national who was injured during a scuffle while trying to demolish a levee built unilaterally by the Indian side at Tilalathi locality in Saptari was provided relief on Saturday.

RAJBIRAJ, July 31: A Nepali national who was injured during a scuffle while trying to demolish a levee built unilaterally by the Indian side at Tilalathi locality in Saptari was provided relief on Saturday. 



Federal Socialist Forum Nepal lawmaker, Laxmi Chaudhary, provided Rs 55,000 to the local on Saturday, Forum Nepal's central member, Shailendra Prasad Sah said. 



Indian nationals and local Nepali villagers clashed on Thursday after the Indian side tried to rebuild the embankment which had been swept away by a flood in Tilalathi of Saptari. 



The Indian side had built the dam a decade ago. Dozens of Indians and Nepali locals were injured during the brawl. RSS
