KATHMANDU, March 23: At present, the country is influenced by local winds along with western winds.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light rainfall expected in Koshi province
This afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will have partial to normal Rain and the rest of the country will have partial to normal weather. Occasional and light rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions and at one/two places in the rest of the country.
Similarly, the weather will remain clear in the rest of the country with partial to normal rain tonight in the hilly areas of the country. There is a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one/two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki region.
