KATHMANDU, May 21: Light rainfall along with thunder and lightning is likely in some parts of Koshi, Madhesh and Lumbini provinces today.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), the weather is influenced by the local and westerly winds coupled with a low pressure system developed in the vicinity of Bihar, India.

It is said that the hilly regions of the country will remain partly cloudy.
The hilly regions of Koshi and Lumbini provinces are forecast to have a light to moderate rainfall along with storm and lightning today, according to the DHM.
