KATHMANDU, Dec 31: Light snowfall is predicted at a high-hilly and mountainous region in the western part of the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. It is said that there is a possibility of snowfall due to the westerly low-pressure system, which is active above Jammu-Kashmir, would enter towards the western part from Nepal's eastern part. The westerly low-pressure system would be more active till Wednesday evening and there was the possibility of snowfall at high-hill and mountainous areas of the central and eastern regions, said meteorologist Shanti Kandel.
