KATHMANDU, July 15: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology of Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), there is normal to complete change over the country in the morning. Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and some places of Sudurpaschim Province are experiencing light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places of all the provinces this afternoon with normal to complete change over the country.
Chance of light to moderate rain today
According to the MFD, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province. According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in few places of all the provinces with partial to moderate showers at night.
Due to rainfall and storms, road and air transport, health, agriculture, tourism and other sectors and daily life can also be affected. MFD has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid the damage from landslides and floods.
