DAMAK, Oct 18: Minister of State for Federal Affairs and Local Development Shree Prasad Jawegu has said that the government was preparing to hold local bodies' elections by April.
Speaking in a program in Damak today, he said that the government was holding discussions with different political parties for the same.

He added that the number of the local units would be finalized as per the recommendation of the Local Bodies Restructuring Commission.
