Love in lockdown

When scientists have no solution,

And no doctors prescribe medication,

Despite science and innovation,

How pathetic, when we are locked down,

Inside our own room, village and nation.

Some say, it’s a result of our misdeeds

Now, befalling as a curse,

As eating bats, an injustice to offspring of our Mother Earth.

So she came to avenge us in form of coronavirus.

Therefore, globe is facing helpless situation,

Touched by thousands of death upon its arrival.

Albeit, coronavirus is overwhelming,

And “isolation, self-quarantine”

That global effort is made to minimize for spreading.

But to love birds, they are being very unaware,

And busy in reviving their love in biological manner,

Like, husband stops outing,

Then his wife feels the deep touch of love

With great ecstasy as he spends time for caressing.

So, couples get closer and they shine,

Known to unsure life of tomorrow, they cherish the moment,

Without waiting the moonlit night.

They enjoy such restricted time

And adore each other with unconditionally

Whole-hearted love during self-quarantine.
