DANG, Jan 11: Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP) has extended its support to UML’s Leela Giri who has staked his claim to the post of chief minister of Lumbini Province.

According to Provincial Health Minister and Maoist Center member of the provincial assembly, Indrajit Choudhary, LSP supported Giri in the race for the chief minister. There are three LSP members in the provincial assembly. With this, the number of provincial assembly members supporting Giri for the post of CM has reached 58.
