KATHMANDU: Sushil Raj Parajuli, the newly-elected chairman of Lumbini Bikas Bank Ltd, has taken his oath of office. Issuing a statement, the development bank said Parajuli took the oath of office and secrecy from Nepal Rastra Bank Deputy Governor Chintamani Shiwakoti.

The development bank chairman was sworn in by the NRB Deputy Governor in line with the new requirement provisioned in the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2017 (BAFIA), Lumbini Bikas Bank said.
A new set of board of directors was also formed for Lumbini Bikas Bank following it formation from a merger between Vibor Society Development Bank Ltd and Lumbini Finance and Leasing Company Ltd.
