According to Madhesh Province Health Directorate Director Bijay Kumar Jha, around 82 percent of the targeted communities in the province have been fully vaccinated against the flu-like infection so far.

The Province has recorded 41,417 COVID-19 infection cases so far. Among them, 40,355 recovered, according to the Directorate. A total of 1,062 people have succumbed to the deadly infection in the province so far, shared Jha.
