KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Lachhuman Gurung, chairman of Mahabu Rural Municipality in Dailekh district, has passed away at the age of 79.

Gurung died on Friday morning during treatment at Dailekh District Hospital. It is reported that he died due to high blood pressure.
Gurung was elected as the chairman of the rural municipality from the Nepali Congress in the local elections last May.
