ILAM, Oct 26: A man from Deumai Municipality of Ilam has killed his own wife and daughter last night after fatally biting them both.
Purna Chandra Tamang, 33, killed his wife Sita Tamang, 34, and daughter Siksha Tamang, 16, according to the police. Stating that he is a witch doctor, Tamang admitted to killing his wife and daughter while in a trance, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahendra Kumar Shrestha at District Police Office, Ilam.

“It is found that Tamang killed his wife and daughter as he was naive and superstitious. Further investigation into the case is currently underway,” SP Shrestha further said. Tamang is currently in custody.
