UDAYAPUR, Aug 14: Police have arrested a man on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl in the district on Tuesday.
Bikash Pariyar, 26, of Triyuga Municipality-12 has been taken under control for his alleged involvement in a gang-rape of a 17-year-old girl of Triyuga Municipality-2.
According to police three people including Pariyar lured the girl into an auto-rickshaw, Sa 1 Ha, 2194, and whisked her to a jungle in Chaudandigadhi Municipality -10 where she was brutally raped.

The other two people who were involved in the gang-rape are at large.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding culprits and are investigating the case.
