KATHMANDU, Oct 29: A man was killed in a khukuri attack in Madi Municipality-4 of Chitwan district on Friday midnight.
Jeevan Nepali in his early 30s was killed at his own residence after he was attacked indiscriminately with Khukuri at his own residence at around 1 AM. The deceased sustained a deep injury on his head due to the attack. The police recovered the khukuri used in the incident from the spot.

Bijaya Raj Pandit, spokesperson of District Police Office, Chitwan, said the police arrested Suresh Bahadur Kumal, a permanent resident of Toltole in Gaidakot Municipality-7 of Eastern Nawalparasi on suspicion of his involvement. Kumal was arrested from Inarbaruwa Village of Madi-3.
The incident took place at the residence of the deceased in Ghosari after a debate arose between these two persons while having alcohol together. Police said further investigation over the incident is currently underway.
