SURKHET, May 27: A man from Chigang Rural Municipality-5 in Surkhet district died on Tuesday night at Karnali Provincial Hospital. He is learnt to have returned home Gujarat, India.
The deceased was reportedly taken ill as he was on his way to Nepal. He breathed his last at around 12:30 am Tuesday, according to sources at the Hospital.

“The man was taken ill on his way to Nepal. He died while undergoing treatment here,” said Dr KN Paudel.
As the patient had come from India, the hospital has already collected swab samples for COVID-19 testing. “The test results will be out in the afternoon. The test results will confirm if the patient had died of COVID-19,” said the doctor.
