KATHMANDU, August 14: Dhan Bahadur Lamtari, 35, was pronounced dead on Friday after getting shot by a hunting rifle in Ribdikot Rural Municipality-6 of Palpa.
His own father, 56-year-old Karna Bahadur Lamtari accidentally shot at him while hunting for wild foxes in a nearby corn field. According to the district police office, Dhan Bahadur was killed instantly after getting shot in the head.

Police have taken Karna Bahadur Lamtari into custody and have recovered the weapon and are currently investigating the incident. The incident took place at around 6PM on Friday.
