Man who went to get tattoo dies unexpectedly

BHAKTAPUR, Jan 13: Biraj Khadka, 33, of Koteshwor, Kathmandu, died unexpectedly when he went to a tattoo parlor operated by one Arush Malla to get a tattoo near Lokanthali Manhara Eye Hospital Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur on Thursday.

Khadka fainted all of sudden when he was waiting for his turn to get inked. After he was unconscious, the tattoo artist as well as Khadka’s relatives took him to KMC Hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur.


A police team including an investigating officer has been deployed at the spot and investigation is underway, said Raju Pandey, information officer for the Police Circle.
