Manjari gets 'Prakash Human Rights Award'

NEPALGUNJ, July 31: A Muslim religious leader Molana Abdul Jabbar Manjari has been awarded with this year's 'Prakash Human Rights Award', established by the Informal Sector Service Centre.

NEPALGUNJ, July 31: A Muslim religious leader Molana Abdul Jabbar Manjari has been awarded with this year's 'Prakash Human Rights Award', established by the Informal Sector Service Centre.



The award carries a purse of Rs 50,000 and a letter of felicitation.



INSEC Regional Chairman Bhola Mahat said that the award was presented to Manjari for his contribution in maintaining religious and racial harmony.



At a program organized here today, Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Anupraj Sharma, presented the award to Manjari.



On the occasion, Manjari handed over all the amount of award to Principal of Nepalgunj-based Madarasa Barakatiya, Molamna Jiyaul, for its educational reforms.



NHRC Chairman Sharma said humanity was the supreme deed. INSEC Chairman Subodhraj Pyakurel, General Secretary Ramesh Chandra Poudel, among others expressed their views. RSS
