Maoist Center’s Bhandari registers candidacy for Sudurpaschim Speaker

DHANGADI, Jan 11: The CPN (Maoist Center) has made its leader Bhim Bhandari a candidate for the post of Speaker of the provincial assembly of Sudurpaschim Province. Bhandari has already registered his candidacy for the crucial post at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

DHANGADI, Jan 11: The CPN (Maoist Center) has made its leader Bhim Bhandari a candidate for the post of Speaker of the provincial assembly of Sudurpaschim Province. Bhandari has already registered his candidacy for the crucial post at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.



It has been agreed between the CPN-UML and the ruling coalition parties including the Maoists to give the post of Speaker of Sudurpaschim to the Maoist Center.

The Nepali Congress has nominated Man Bahadur Rawal, a senior member of the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly, as its candidate for Speaker.


Voting will be held on Thursday to elect the Speaker of Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly.
