Maoist Center sweeps Tribeni Nalgad Municipality polls

JAJARKOT, May 18: Maoist Center candidate Tek Bahaur Rawal has been elected mayor of Tribeni Nalgad Municipality. He secured 3, 418 votes. His closest rival Chhabi Panta of Nepali Congress got 2, 998 votes.

JAJARKOT, May 18: Maoist Center candidate Tek Bahaur Rawal has been elected mayor of Tribeni Nalgad Municipality. He secured 3, 418 votes. His closest rival Chhabi Panta of Nepali Congress got 2, 998 votes.

Similarly, Bal Kumari  Basnet of Maoist Center has secured 3, 241 votes to become deputy chief while her closest rival Dhan Kumar Shahi of NC got 2, 912 votes.


Of the total 12, 341 votes, 9, 778 had been cast in the local level elections on May 14.
