POKHARA, September 11: CPN (Maoist Centre) 1st Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City Conference has formed a new working committee under the leadership of Bishwo Prakash Lamichane. 



The committee comprises Goma Dhakal as vice chairperson, Binaya Thapa as secretary and Janakraj Parajuli in treasury. Secretary Thapa shared that the committee will nominate another vice chairperson and two members. 



The conference involving the participation of 800 elected representatives from all 33 wards of the city concluded on Sunday evening. 



Suspicious object spreads panic in Sasto Bazaar 



Meanwhile, a suspicious package was found at Sasto Bazaar in Prithvichowk of Pokhara Lekthnath Metropolis – 9 this morning. 



The object wrapped in a bag was found near a land property owned by Nepal Airlines and recently leased by an individual to build a shop, according to District Police Office, Kaski's Spokesperson, Khadga Bahadur Khatri. 



Khatri added that a bomb squad from Nepal Army is investigating the object. Recently, the businesses based on the land property and owned by 217 businessmen were removed to clear the land. Now the property is being leased out again but to new contractors. RSS
