KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Actor Puspa Khadka, Samragyee Rajyalaxmi Shah and Rebika Gurung announced the launch of ‘Maruni’ movie while walking on a ramp. The team, alongside with the actors was also introduced on the ramp walk.

Fashion designer Punam Gautam is producing the movie. Nawal Nepal is the director. The movie debuts Rebika Gurung as well. Gautam said, “I was searching for a good story. Thanks to Nawal Nepal, he brought this story and I felt this was the right one for this movie.”
The movie is cinematographed by Sanjay Lama and Krishna Kaphle has composed the music in this movie.
Actor Shah said that the factor behind her choosing the movie was the story of the movie. She added, “This movie is really unique and one can hope to watch.”
The film is set to be released in 2019’s mid-January.
