Maximum students in Grade XII examination failed in English

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Most of the students have failed in the English subject in this year’s Grade 12 exams.

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Most of the students have failed in the English subject in this year’s Grade 12 exams. 



The National Examination Board (NEB), Office of Controller of Examinations has stated that the highest number of Non-Graded (NG) students has been in English this year.

According to the NEB, 102,206 students have received NG in English this year.


Similarly, 9,591 students have secured a GPA score between 3.61 and 4.00, those with a GPA score between 3.21 and 3.60 are 46,893, and finally, 78,075 students secured a GPA score between 2.81 and 3.20. 


According to the NEB, the number of students with a GPA between 2.41 and 2.80 is 61,036, while those with a GPA between 2.01 and 2.40 is 8,240, and only 12 students secured a GPA between 1.61 and 2.00. 


Similarly, 127,007 students who received NG  will be eligible to take the supplementary exam. The NEB has announced that supplementary exams will be held on 10th and 11th September.
