MCC Vice President Sumar requests FinMin to endorse the compact thru parliament

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Fatima Sumar, the visiting vice president of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) requested Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to pass the compact through parliament.

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Fatima Sumar, the visiting vice president of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) requested Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to pass the compact through parliament.



In a meeting with the minister on Saturday, Sumar requested Minister Sharma for speedy approval of the compact by parliament.

Sharma informed Sumar that discussions at the top political level were being carried out regarding the agreement signed between Nepal and MCC in 2017.
