KATHMANDU, July 2: MetLife has appointed Nirmal Kajee Shrestha as Vice President and General Manager of MetLife Nepal.
Shrestha's appointment came into effect from July 1, according to a statement issued by MetLife.
The statement further stated that Shrestha received the appointment from Md Nurul Islam, the Chairman of MetLife Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar.
Shrestha, who joined MetLife Nepal in 2002, has served the company in a number of senior positions in sales and agency management of MetLife.
He had been serving as the chief distribution officer, overseeing the management of all distribution channels of MetLife Nepal since 2015, according to the statement.
