Microfinance victims stage protest outside parliament building as House session continues

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: The victims of microfinance who have gathered in Kathmandu from across the country entered the Parliament building premises in New Baneshwor and chanted slogans on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: The victims of microfinance who have gathered in Kathmandu from across the country entered the Parliament building premises in New Baneshwor and chanted slogans on Monday.



In the afternoon today, while the parliament session was underway, the victims of microfinance entered the parliament building premises and chanted slogans.

Borrowers facing difficulties in repaying their microfinance loans marched on foot to Kathmandu to stage a protest. They entered the outer gate of the parliament building and demonstrated on Monday.
