ITAHARI, June 11 : Properties worth Rs 25 million plus gutted in a fire that occurred last night in the main market of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-6 in Sunsari district.

The fire that broke out from Indra Fancy Store at around 11:35 pm gutted invaluable goods including fancy cloth items, according to the Area Police Office, Itahari. Police said the fire could have occurred due to short circuit. The personnel of the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal and the local residents doused the fire with support from the fighters from Itahari, Dharan, Duhabi and Biratnagar. RSS
