Minister Kunwar pledges to address problems seen in foreign employment sector

KATHMANDU, July 25: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar has said the government would address issues in the sector of foreign employment.

KATHMANDU, July 25: Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Sher Bahadur Kunwar has said the government would address issues in the sector of foreign employment. 



In his address to a press meet organized by the Socialist Press Organization Nepal, Kailali on Sunday,  Minister Kunwar said that the government faces legal hurdles in supporting  and rescuing Nepali migrant workers who have reached aboard through an illegal channel. "There are also legal problems for bringing dead bodies of Nepali migrant workers who died in foreign land," he said.

He expressed commitment that the government would make necessary initiatives to rescue stranded Nepali migrant workers.
