Rex Fashion Home organized a press meet on Thursday to announce that Miss Newa Icon 2018 will take place on March 24 at the Army Officer’s Club, Sundhara.

According to the press statement released by Rex Fashion Home, it is the second edition of ‘Miss Newa Icon’ to be organized by Rex Fashion Home, while the first edition took place in 2016. The statement quoting Khagesh Ranjit, executive director of Rex Fashion Home said, the beauty pageant aimed at revealing hidden talent of girls from the Newar community. As many as 30 girls will compete for the title.
It added that the interested participants must have passed SEE and should be between 16 and 24 years of age to be eligible for the competition. The audition for Kathmandu is scheduled on February 17, and registration for the same will take place till February 10 for participants from the Valley and till February 16 for participants from outside the Valley.
