The BBA (Fourth Year) Students of Little Angels’ College of Management (LACM) organized  Momo Con Food Festival Program on the college premises. The program was held in association with Republica- a leading English Daily Newspaper. This is the 8th successive food-fest organized by LACM. Momo Con is a project work under the course of Entrepreneurship and New Business Formation.

This project is being assigned to the students as a practical implementation of theoretical learning of the BBA/BBIS course Entrepreneurship and New Business Formation. This is an entrepreneurial activity and basically is about creating a ‘market’ in the college by selling ‘momos’. Prior to commencement of the program, there was a briefing session between LACM Students and representatives of Republica.

The students learned about the relationships between the media and a Business school like LACM. They were also told about the various ongoing events taking place all across the country and the world at large. The students were interested in learning how Republica has been covering all the news for these many years. At the end, there was a General-Knowledge round where students were thrown questions on various current trends and topics. The winners took away gift-hampers.

The Momo Con Event had various food-stalls with a vast variety of food. Chinese, Continental, Indian and Newari foods were served. A program was hosted simultaneously where participants performed on the stage. Various games were conducted by Republica as well.

As the objective of Momocon Event states, ‘To enable the students to practically implement the theoretical knowledge gained in the class.’ The students truly got a hands-on opportunity in experiencing the practical side of entrepreneurship.
