KATHMANDU, Dec 12: MoneyGram has announced the first week's lucky winner of MoneyGram Double Happiness Extended Campaign. Issuing a statement on Monday, MoneyGram announced first week's winners: Puja Chaudhary from Morang and Sunita Maghaiya from Chhetrapati.

According to the statement, the campaign was launched on November 20 across Nepal. Customers who received money transfer in Nepal until January 31, 2018 are eligible for the lucky draw. MoneyGram will double the transaction amount for 24 winners, added the statement. The statement further said that considering the increasing transaction volume during Dashain, the company had decided to launch the campaign to respect the effort of family members to send money back home.
