Morang sees two more coronavirus-related deaths

BIRATNAGAR, Oct 13: Morang district recorded two more coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday.



A 43-year-old man from Sundarharaicha Municipality-3 died while undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, according to Sunil Dev, chief of the isolation ward.

The man was admitted to the hospital last Saturday after having respiratory problems. The man had tested positive for the virus on the same day.


Likewise, a 71-year-old man from Budhiganga Rural Municipality-5 in Morang died earlier today while undergoing treatment at a COVID-19 Treatment Centre in Biratnagar. Gyan Bahadur Basnet, a senior official at the center, said that the deceased was an asthma patient.


He breathed his last while undergoing treatment on ventilator support, according to Basnet.
