KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Kathmandu Valley witnesses cold in mornings and evenings than in the afternoons. On Monday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu dropped to 5.4 degree Celsius. Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar has informed Republica that Kathmandu has the lowest temperature this year.

According to Manandhar, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu on Sunday was 6 degree Celsius. As the minimum temperature starts to decrease, the cold is increasing. According to the meteorologist, it is snowing in the Himalayan district and fog has started in the Terai district in the morning.
The weather is generally clear and sunny in the afternoon. Meteorologist Manandhar said that the afternoon weather is expected to be generally clear today.
