RATNANAGAR (Chitwan), Dec 21: A motorcyclist was killed after getting rammed by a truck at Shanti Chowk of Ratnanagar Municipality – 3 in eastern part of Chitwan last night.
The ill-fated bike (Na 42 Pa 4851) was struck from behind by a truck (Na 4 Kha 9123) heading towards Bharatpur from east at 8 pm fatally injuring Sangam Sapkota, 24, of Khaireni, District Police Office, Chitwan said.
Sapkota succumbed to injuries in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College the same night. The police have detained the truck driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
