Rotary International District 3292 Nepal & Bhutan will organize ‘ Mr and Ms Rotaract 2.0’, the second edition of Mr and Ms Rotaract. With 36 contestants participating, the Grand Finale of the event will be held on March 9 at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi.
The first phase of the event was a regional audition conducted on January 26 in 5 major cities of Nepal. 77 out of 200 participating rotaractors excelled to the next round. Through different activities, the scores were tabulated and top 36 (18 male and 18 female) were chosen for the final round. The finalists will now be groomed in a 3-days-closed-camp. There, they will be mentored with different trainings and workshops on leadership, personality and self-development.
Gearing up for the grand finale of ‘The Face’
According to Peshal Bhattarai, Program Director of Rotaract, the event is unlike other pageants is focused on intellect of participant rather than external beauty.
The winners of the event will serve as the brand ambassadors of Rotary Literacy mission and will also participate in different national and international projects."
