JHAPA, Nov 25: A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army (NA) defused a bomb planted at the main gate of CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli's home in Damak.
The NA team from 21 Number Brigade defused the bomb this morning in Oli's residence in Damak of the district.
Earlier, a bomb went off in Oli's house at 4:00 am today. Superintendent of Police Bishnu KC said that no human casualty and loss of physical damage was reported from the explosion.
Meanwhile, a bomb exploded last midnight in the house of Nepali Congress Jhapa District Committee President and candidate of Jhapa-2 in House of Representatives Uddhab Thapa. A Bolero jeep (Ba 7 Cha 6895) was completely destroyed in the explosion.
