KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Nabil Bank has launched QR (Quick Response) Code Payment Service in association with UnionPay International (UPI) and Rojgari Services Private Limited. "The three organizations have formed an alliance which brings together a pool of expertise in QR payment solution, acquiring/payment services and network development," a press release issued on Wednesday states. "From each QR merchant outlet equipped with a QR code system, consumers scan the QR code displayed on the checkout counter at merchant outlets with their phones to pay for their goods/services." The new payment service is expected to enhance digital banking and innovative solution to customers, according to the statement.
