Nagarik journalist Adhikari felicitated

KATHMANDU, March 31: Journalist Bal Krishna Adhikari has been awarded with the Martyr Jagadjung Prakash Shah Memorial Journalism Award. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and felicitation letter.

KATHMANDU, March 31: Journalist Bal Krishna Adhikari has been awarded with the Martyr Jagadjung Prakash Shah Memorial Journalism Award. The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and felicitation letter.



Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli handed over the Award to journalist Adhikari amidst a special function organized by Reporters' Club Nepal in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Adhikari, who currently heads the Political Affairs Bureau of Nagarik Daily, has been active in the field of journalism for over 15 years.

Similarly, Madan Bhandari Memorial Journalist Award for this year was awarded to senior journalist and Executive Director of Ujyaalo Multimedia Private Limited Gopal Guragain. The Award carries a purse of Rs 100,000.


Journalist Shalik Subedi of Nepal Television, Sagar Pandit of Rajdhani Daily, Ishwari Wagle of Taja Khabar Weekly, Binu Subedi of Kantipur Daily and Mukunda Kalikote were also among those awarded on that occasion.
