CHITWAN, June 18: The Narayangadh-Mugling road section which was blocked due to the deposition of debris from a mudslide occurred at Charkilo this morning has comes into operation from 3.45 this afternoon. The road section had remained blocked nearly for nine hours.
The road was blocked by the huge mudslide that occurred at 7 am at Chandi Bhanjyang VDC-5.
Vehicular movement on the road was obstructed on Friday evening also due to a mudslide that occurred at 7 pm. The highway was opened after the mudslide debris was removed at 11 pm.
The landslide debris was removed using two loaders and one excavator the whole day today, said Shiva Khanal, the engineer of the Mugling-Narayangadh Road Project. RSS
