National assembly should be formed thru STVS: Singh

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Nepali Congress leader and former DPM Prakash Man Singh has said the national assembly should be constituted through single transferable voting system (STVS). 



He was speaking at a programme organized in Dillibazar in the capital Saturday by the local committee of the party to congratulate him on his victory to the federal parliamentary election.

Leader Singh further added that the government had sent the ordinance relating to form the national assembly two months before the recent parliamentary polls but it was still in the office of the President, which is not good. 


He also said that NC will sit in the opposition by respecting public mandate. RSS
