KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Human Resources Society Nepal (HRSN), a professional not-for-profit registered organization, is organizing 8th National HR Conference 2019' in Kathmandu on Friday.
The conference is being organized with the theme 'Upskilling and Reskilling HR'.
According to the HRSN, the conference will assist in analysis of the status of human resources and its usage, and will help in the preparation of guidelines to understand the type of manpower that will be necessary in the future.The preliminary report of 'Nepal Skills Report' will also be made public during the annual event of the organization. The report consists of the study of necessity of human resources with skills and qualification in different organizations.

“The National HR Conference will prepare a platform for discussion on types of human resources needed for Nepal which is in the modern and development phase. It will help improve the weaknesses and develop standard human resources for the future,” Madhu Paudel, vice president of HRSN, told Republica.
The organizers will also give away 'Manager of the Year' award during the conference.
Prominent international speakers will present their speech on 'Reskilling and Upskilling HR', according to the organizers.
Line managers, training managers, HR professionals, CEOs and directors are participating in the event. According to the organization, around 250 HR and management professionals representing national and international banks, financial institutes, multinational companies, INGOs, NGOs, manufacturing firms, information technology firms, insurers, construction firms and consulting firms, among others, are expected to participate in the event.
While the participation fee for non-members has been set at Rs 7,500 plus applicable taxes, participation fee for members is Rs 6,500 plus taxes.
