KATHMANDU, Nov 21: General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC), Dr Shashanka Koirala met with the party’s former general secretary Prakash Man Singh on Saturday to discuss issues related to the upcoming 14th General Convention of NC. In the meeting, the two leaders decided to cooperate with each other and move forward in the upcoming General Convention.
Earlier, General Secretary Koirala had said that Singh’s faction is not as popular outside Kathmandu as it is in the Valley. In the meeting, Dr Koirala clarified that he had no intentions of insulting him with his statement.

Meetings between NC leaders are being held more frequently as the General Convention is just around the corner. The 14th General Convention will be held from December 10 to December 12.
