NC Manifesto: Free of cost treatment to all citizens below 3 years and above 73 years

KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Nepali Congress (NC) has made public the party's election manifesto for the House of Representatives and province assemblies to be held on November 20.



NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba unveiled the manifesto through a press conference held today at the party's central office, Sanepa.


In the manifesto, the party has announced to arrange free of cost treatment for citizens below three years and above 73 years of age. In addition, the party aims to take the average life expectancy of Nepali people to 73 years within the next five years.

NC General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that the party's manifesto is as inclusive as possible. He said that while writing the manifesto, he sat down with experts and tried to represent the diversity of Nepali society in the manifesto. He also claimed that the party is focusing on whether the overall prosperity structure addresses the people or not.


Sharma also mentioned that it also includes matters of protecting the constitution and the order sought by the society. He expressed his commitment not to dissolve parliament just because there is conflict between political parties.
