NC president Deuba calls for booking Nirmala Panta’s killers

Kathmandu, Oct 27 : Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for bringing to book the culprits responsible for the rape and then murder of Nirmala Panta.

Kathmandu, Oct 27 : Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for bringing to book the culprits responsible for the rape and then murder of Nirmala Panta. 



Addressing the greetings exchange and tea reception organized at the party office in Sanepa, Lalitpur today on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal Tarun Dal, he said those responsible for the heinous crime should not be acquitted merely by removing two police officers.

“The culprits of reprehensible crimes as rape and murder not bring traced is a challenge to the rule of law. Let the government not protect people involved in such acts. The culprits involved in the rape and killing should be punished whoever they are,” he demanded. 


Dal president Jeetjung Basnet said the Nepal Tarun Dal would work for the protection of democratic values, good governance, stability and development. 


Nepal Tarun Dal was established on 26 October 1953 for mobilizing the youths for strengthening democracy after its inception in 1950. The Dal was formed by founder leader of the Nepali Congress, the late BP Koirala. RSS
