KATHMANDU, July 19: Ruling Nepali Congress has called a central committee meeting (CC) to review the first and second phase of local elections.
The CC meeting has been called on July 24 to review the local level elections and to discuss the third phase of local elections slated for September 18.

Party Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel on Wednesday informed all the CC members and the office bearers about the scheduled meeting.
According to Paudel, the meeting will take place at the Central Party Office, Sanepa at 2 pm on July 24.
Similarly, the NC has also called the meeting of the lawmakers of the Province 2, district presidents and regional presidents in New Baneshwar on Thursday morning to dwell on the upcoming third phase of local elections.
The NC was placed second in the first and second phase of local elections held on May 14 and June 28.
