Around five NCP cadres entered the hall, where NC's central representative Bidya Prasad Khanal, was addressing the gathering. “They tried to disrupt our program. We tried to convince them. They instead of listening to us, attacked us,” said Koirala.

According to Sabuj Baniya, Kathmandu President Banke district President along with dozen other leaders and cadres were attacked by the ruling NCP while attending the program of NC’s National Awakening Campaign at Sitapur, Banke on Wednesday.
