NC wins in Triveni Municipality

BAJURA, July 1: The Nepali Congress candidates to the post of mayor and deputy mayor have been elected in the local level election at Triveni Municipality in the district.

BAJURA, July 1: The Nepali Congress candidates to the post of mayor and deputy mayor have been elected in the local level election at Triveni Municipality in the district.

The NC candidate Ram Singh Rawal has been elected as the mayor receiving 3,365 while his closed rival from CPN (UML) Janga Bahadur Budha got 2,194 votes. Similarly, NC's Radhika Sunar has been elected to the post of the deputy mayor receiving 3,392 votes, while her nearest rival UML's Parbati Thapa got 2070 votes. 


Similarly, NC has got victory in different nine wards while CPN (Maoist Centre) has got victory in one ward in the municipality. RSS
